About > Company History
HCF was founded in 2003 as a joint venture between its senior management and the Hatch Group (“Hatch”), the global multidisciplinary management, engineering and development consultancy headquartered in Ontario, Canada.
Hatch is an employee-owned multidisciplinary engineering firm that provides custom process design, business strategies, technologies, project and construction management from 65 offices, employing 11,000 people around 6 continents to clients in the Metals & Mining, Infrastructure and Energy sectors.
In 2011, HCF’s senior management completed a management buyout. We are now fully independent of Hatch but maintain a strong relationship, providing clients with a unique platform which combines top tier investment banking advisory skills, deep industry knowledge and unparalleled technical skills.
Following the buyout, we have realigned our service offering platform, focusing on debt advisory, strategic equity, mergers and acquisitions, strategic advice and political risk mitigation.
